What is Sideloading ?

Sideloading is a term used in Internet culture, similar to "upload" and "download", but in reference to the process of transferring data between two local devices, in particular between a computer and a mobile device such as a cellphone, smartphone, PDA, or portable media player.

Sideloading typically refers to media file transfer to a mobile device via USB, Bluetooth or by writing to a memory card for insertion into the mobile device.

This Site scans all files with Jotti's malware scan befor posting you can check them by scanning then again with http://virusscan.jotti.org/en and compare the MD5 and SHA1 hash tags

  • Jotti's malware scan is a free online service that enables you to scan suspicious files with several anti-virus programs. Scanners used are Linux versions; detection differences with Windows versions of the same scanners may occur due to implementation differences. There is a 25MB limit per file. Keep in mind that no security solution offers 100% protection, not even when it uses several anti-virus engines (for example, this scan service).

  • Files uploaded here are shared with anti-virus companies so detection accuracy of their anti-virus products can be improved.
  • MediaFire.com my file hosthosting service also scans all files with Bitdefender.

  • Visit my "You're Fired" section for apps that i have found that would not work.

Feedly RSS Reader

Do to the Retirement or shutdown of Google Reader a nice Web based RSS Reader I had to find a alternative to one of my most used web apps, enter Feedly. Your News Deck
.

Feedly is a new way to browse the content of your favorite sites, rss feeds, tumblr blogs and youtube channels. Instead of having to hunt down for information, feedly uses RSS to aggregate the contents of the news sites you like and deliver them as a fast mobile-optimized experience.
Feedly is an RSS news reader re-imagined for android phones and tablets. It makes browsing faster: the content of your rss feeds are transformed into pocket-sized cards which load very fast and are easy to browse.
The feedly UI is custom tailored for a 4" phone, a 7" tablet and a 10" tablet. If you run feedly on a tablet, you will get an experience which is very close to a personalized magazine.
When you run feedly on a phone and on a tablet, the configuration will automatically syncs between both devices.
Feedly also offers two way sync with Google Reader: articles your read in feedly are automatically marked as read in Google Reader. Articles you save for later in feedly are automatically starred in Google Reader. RSS feeds you add to feedly are automatically added to Google Reader.
Feedly makes sharing content on twitter, facebook and google+ very simple, either directly or using Buffer.
We are continuously improving feedly so if you have any questions or run into an issue, you can reach as at android@feedly.com
